Hussam Negm

The founder of Synergy Consulting, Hussam Negm is a highly regarded professional in business administration, specializing in accounting, auditing, risk management, finance, and investment. With over 20 years of experience across various industries—primarily financial services—Hussam has held diverse roles throughout his career. Since 2014, Hussam has been providing business advisory services to numerous local and regional clients through Synergy Consulting. Prior to this, he founded and led the Accounting and Financial Development Department at Egyptian Bank, serving the organization for 11 years. Earlier in his career, Hussam held the position of Assistant Finance Manager at Agility Logistics, one of the top listed companies. He also worked in advisory functions at the Petroleum Council/Council of Ministers (PCM). In addition to his industry expertise, Hussam has a strong background in academia. He has been teaching management accounting, financial reporting, and advanced tax governance at several prestigious universities in Kuwait, including the American University of Kuwait (AUK), Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST), and Maastricht University (MsM). Hussam has also been delivering lectures on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) at the Kuwait Association of Accountants and Auditors (KAAA) for seven years.
