1. The KnowledgeX website, hereafter will be referred to as the "website", "site", "we" and "us".

Members & Visitors
When you access KnowledgeX service as a user or register and join as a member, the collection, use and sharing of your personal data is subject to this Privacy Policy (includes our cookie policy)
The knowledgeX will use your first name and email address to contact you by email, and by clicking the button to subscribe to our emails, you will be agreeing to this use of your personal data. When you subscribe, we will also record your “IP Address” as this help us to guess your approximate location, so our sent emails arrive in a convenient time for you.
In addition, you may provide us with your job title and areas of speciality and interest, and this will help us be more specific and personalised in the information we send you that we believe it may be within an interest to you. We carefully select our newsletters and associated emails to ensure they are relevant to you and to your shared interests.
We have assessed our use of your personal data as having minimal on your privacy and will keep it this way.
We will not at any given time use your name or email address for any other purpose, nor will we pass it on to anyone outside of the knowledgeX group. Registration
In the process of creating your account, you need to provide us with data including your name, email address and/or contact number, and a password. The registration information is not displayed or viewed in the public profile.
Profile
The data in your profile is optional, such as education, work, experience, location, skills, areas of speciality, interests, and photo. You don’t have to provide this additional information on your profile. However, the profile information helps other members and professionals find and connect with you, it’s your sole choice whether you include sensitive personal information on your profile and to make it public.
Posting and Uploading
Any data that you share in posts is of your choice and it’s your choice to do so. You don’t have to post or upload data; though that may limit your ability to engage and benefit from your network views and experiences.
You allow us to collect your data if you choose to participate in posts, discussion boards, quizzes, surveys and polls. You may give us information about you by taking actions or filling in forms on the website, reporting a problem or providing us with feedback or testimonials.
1-2. Information we collect about you
With regards to your visits and activity on our website, we automatically collect the following information:
- Technical information, including Internet Protocol “IP” address used to connect your computer to the internet, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-ins and versions, operation system and platform.

In addition, it may be processed by staff outside the US & EEA who process technical, support and payment services. By submitting your personal data, you agree to the above transfer, storing and processing procedure. KnowledgeX will take all the necessary reasonable steps to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance to the term of this privacy policy.
We implement security safeguards designed to protect your data, such as HTTPS. In addition, any payments transactions will be encrypted using SSL technology. We regularly monitor our systems for possible vulnerabilities and attacks. Where we have given you or you have chosen a password which enables you to access parts of our website, you are responsible for keeping this password safe and secure. We ask you not to share your password with anyone.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via internet is not completely secure. Despite we will take all the necessary measures to protect your personal data, we can not warrant the security of your data transmitted to our site. There is no guarantee that the data may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical or managerial safeguards. Any transmission is at your own risk.
2. Your Rights and obligations

In addition to the above right and obligations; We will keep your personal data for no longer than necessary. The period will be determined by the criteria of the period of your service contract or newsletter subscription with us in addition to a reasonable administration period (not exceeding a further 2 years).
3. Account Closure
If you choose to discontinue or close your KnowlegeX account, your personal data will generally stop being visible to others on our services within 24 hours. We generally delete closed account information within 30 days of the account closure, except as noted below.We retain your personal data even after you have closed your account if reasonably necessary to comply with our legal obligations (including law enforcement requests), meet regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our Users Agreement. We will retain de-personalised information after your account has been closed.
Information you have shared with others (e.g. through posts, updates, InMail) will remain visible after you close your account or deleted the information from your own profile or mailbox, as we do not control data that other members copied out of our services. Ratings and reviews content associated with closed accounts will show an unknown user as the source. Your profile may continue to be displayed in the services of others (e.g. search engine results) until they refresh their cache.
4. Changes to our Privacy Policy
Any future changes we make to our privacy policy will be posted on this page and where appropriate, notified to you by our available means of communication (e.g. email, notification service). We advise you to frequently check for any updates or changes to our privacy policy (including cookie policy).
5. Data Protection Law
This means (i) unless and until the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is no longer directly applicable in the UK. The GDPR and any national implementing laws, as amended from the time to time and then (ii) any successor legalisation to the GDPR or the Data Protection Act 1998
