User Agreement
1. Introduction
1-1. Contract
You agree that by clicking "Join Now", "Join KnowledgeX", "Register Now" or similar, accessing or using our website (www.theknowledgex.com), you are agreeing to the terms of use of KnowledgeX. If you do not agree to this term of use (User Agreement), do not click "Join Now" (or similar) and do not access or otherwise use our website. If you wish to terminate this agreement at any time, you can do so by closing your account and no longer accessing our website.
As a Visitor or Member of our website, the collection, use and sharing of your personal data is subject to the Privacy Policy (which includes our Cookie Policy and other documents referenced in this term of use policy) and its updates.
1-2. Definitions
1. The KnowledgeX website, hereafter will be referred to as the "website", "site", "we" and "us".
2. Yourself as a user, hereafter will be referred to as the "User", "member" and "you".
1-3. Members & Visitors
When you register and join the knowledgeX, you become a "Member". If you have chosen not to register for our website, you may access certain limited features as a "Visitor."
1-4. Change of terms of use
We hold the right of revising and amending these terms of use, privacy policy (including cookies policy) from time to time. We will provide you notice through our website or by others means to provide you an opportunity to review the changes before its effective date. If you object any changes, you may close your account. Should you access our website post the effective date of the changes, that means that you are consenting to the updated changes.
2. Obligations
2-1. Changes to our site
KnowledgeX reserve the right to update the website from time to time, this may require change of content, design, look and feel at any time to ensure providing an outstanding experience for our users. However, kindly note that any content on our site may be out of date at any given time, and we are under no obligation to update it. KnowledgeX do not guarantee that our site, or any content on it, will be free from errors or omissions.
2-2. Accessing Our Site
Our website is made available free of charge. We do not guarantee that our site, or any of its content, will always be available or be uninterrupted. Access to our site is permitted on a temporary basis. We may suspend, withdraw, discontinue or change all or any part of our website without notice. We will not be liable to you if for any reason our site is unavailable at any time or for any period.
KnowledgeX is not a storage website. You agree that we have no obligation to store, maintain or provide you a copy of any content or information that you or others provide, except to the extent required by applicable law.
2-3. Service Eligibility
Our site is not for use by anyone under the age of 16
To use our website, you agree that: (1) you must be of the “Minimum Age” (described below) or older; (2) you will only have a single KnowledgeX account, which must be in your real name; (3) you are not already restricted by KnowledgeX from using our site and services. Creating an account with false personal and / or contact information is considered a violation of our terms, including accounts registered on behalf of others or person under the age of 16.
"Minimum Age" means 16 years old. However, if law requires that you must be older in order for KnowledgeX to lawfully provide the website and its service to you without parental consent (including using of your personal data, then the Minimum Age is such older age.
2-4. Your Account and Password
Members and account holders. You agree to: (1) choose a strong and secure password; (2) treat identification codes and password as confidential and you may not disclose or share it with any third party; (3) not to transfer any part of your account to others; (4) follow the law and our list of Dos and Don’ts and professional community Policies; (5) you are responsible for anything that happens or shared through your account unless you close it or report misuse; (6) we reserve the right to disable any user identification code or password, whether chosen by you or allocated by us at any time, if in our reasonable opinion you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these terms of use.
2-5. Notices and messages
You agree that we will provide notices, notifications and messages to you in the following way: (1) within the website; (2) sent to the contact information you provided us (e.g. email, mobile number, physical address). You agree to keep your contact information up to date. Should you want to amend any of the notices, notifications and messages, please review and modify your setting controls under your account profile.
2-6. Sharing
Our service allows messaging and sharing of information in many ways, such as your profile, posts, links to news articles and blogs. Information and content that you share or post may be seen by other members, visitors or others. Where we have made setting available, we will honour the choices you make about who can see content or information (e.g. messages content to your addresses, restricting your profile visibility from search engines).
We are not obligated to publish any information or content on our service and can remove it in our sole discretion and with or without notice.
3. Rights and limits
3.-1. Your License to the KnowledgeX
As between you and the KnowledgeX, you own the content and information that you submit or post to the website, and you are only granting The Knowledge X the following non-exclusive license:
A worldwide, transferable and sublicensable right to use, copy, modify, distribute, publish, and process information and content that you provide through our website, without any further consent, notice and/or compensation to you or others. These rights are limited in the following ways:
- You can end this license for specific content by deleting such content from our site, or generally by closing your account. Except (a) to the extent you shared it with others through posts, blogs and they copied, re-shared it or stored it and (b) for a reasonable time it takes to remove from backup and other systems.
- We will not include your content in advertisements for the products and services of third parties to others without your separate consent (including sponsored content). However, we have the right, without payment to you or others, to serve ads near your content and information, and your social actions may be visible and included with ads, as noted in the Privacy Policy.
- We will get your consent if we want to give others the right to publish your content beyond the website. However, if you choose to share publicly on the website, we will enable search engines to make the public content findable through the website.
- While we may edit and make format changes to your content (such as translating it, modifying the size, layout and file type or removing metadata), we will not modify the meaning of your expression.
You agree to only provide content or information that does not violate the law nor anyones rights (including intellectual property rights). You also agree that your profile information will be truthful. We may be required by law to remove certain information or content in certain countries.
3-2. No Reliance on information or other content
By using our site, you may encounter content or information that might be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, misleading, illegal, offensive or otherwise harmful. KnowledgeX generally does not review content provided by our Members or others. You agree that we are not responsible for others’ (including other Members’) content or information. We cannot always prevent this misuse of our website, and you agree that we are not responsible for any such misuse.
The content on our site is provided for general information only, it is not intended to act as an advice on which you should rely. You must conduct you own personal referencing, obtain professional or specialist advise before taking, or refraining from, any action on basis of the content on our site.
However, we make reasonable efforts to update the information on our site, we make no representations, warranties or guarantees, whether express or implied that the content on our site is accurate, complete or up- to-date.
We will not be responsible, or reliable to any third party, for the content or accuracy of any content posted by you or any other user on the website.
3-3. Intellectual Property
We reserve all intellectual property rights on our website. The content is protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. Using the Services does not give you any ownership in our services or the content or information made available through our website.
You must not use any part of our content, materials, illustrations, documents, images and videos for commercial purposes without KnowledgeX consent and obtaining an official licence.
If you violate the intellectual property rights mentioned, this will be considered a breach to our terms of use. Accordingly, your membership and right to use our site will cease immediately. You must at our option, return or destroy any copies of the material that you have downloaded or copied.
4. Knowledge X Do’s and Don’ts
4-1. Dos
AYou agree that you will:
- Comply with all applicable laws, including, without limitation, privacy laws, intellectual property laws, anti-spam laws, export control laws, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Use your real name and correct information on your profile.
- Use the service in a professional manner and respect other users’ views.
4-2. Don’ts
- Disclose information that you do not have the consent to disclose (such as confidential information of others).
- Post anything that contains software viruses, trojans, worms, or any other harmful code.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, decipher or otherwise attempt to derive the source code for the Services or any related technology that is not an open source.
- Post anything that promote hate, racism and violence.
- Disrupt the normal flow of dialogue, or otherwise act in a manner that negatively affect the other members ability to engage in professional manner.
- Stalk or harass other members or users of the website.
